Our congregational family at Moses Montefiore welcomes new members. We hope you will choose to join with us, and we are certain that you will find here a warm, caring community engaged in an exciting and innovative celebration of Jewish life.

Moses Montefiore Congregation offers regular Shabbat and holiday services, a Sunday morning religious school program, adult education opportunities and an active calendar of social and educational events.

We are a Congregation of just over 100 families, and in striving to meet our goals, Moses Montefiore Congregation has become a family itself. Like any family, we have our idiosyncrasies and our individuality, but we also have a common purpose and a sense of belonging. We celebrate weddings and Bar and Bat Mitzvahs; we perform mitzvot for each other and our community; we grieve together; we pray together; and we support each other.

Our Congregation is a vibrant center of Jewish activity, in large measure because of the strong support we have received from our members. That is the base we depend on to ensure that this venerable and vibrant institution continues to prosper and serve your needs as well as those of future generations.

If you are a current member, we thank you for your continued commitment to MMT and ask that you re-familiarize yourself with our Dues Policy and make a Dues Pledge, if you have not already done so this year.

If you are considering membership, we welcome you to join us for Shabbat service, ask questions, and get to know us. Then if you are interested in becoming a member of our congregation, please review our Dues Policy and complete the Invitation to Membership.  Feel free to contact our Board President, Alan Novick,  if you have any questions.
